A Fresh New Look for the Women’s Building Website

After several months under construction, the Women’s Building is delighted to announce the launch of our new website! You will notice a whole new design that is more current and streamlined, new colors, new photos, a new calendar, and easier access to our social networks.

Our goal with the new site was to try to make our work clearer to the public through redesigning, reorganizing, and updating the Calendar of Events, Programs & Services, and In-House Organizations pages.

In addition, we have provided links to our social networking sites like our blog and Facebook page on the Home Page so that you can easily stay up-to-date with our events, programs, campaigns, and learn how to get involved.

We have also added more photos of the four-story building, the tremendous MaestraPeace Mural which adorns it, and the people who work in, use, or visit the building. The mural plays an important role in the Mission District community, impresses all of its visitors, and represents the history and culture of diverse women; it was important for us to try to capture more of this on our website.

We would like to thank Michael Winningham from SFMEDIAWORKS for all of his time, effort, and creativity in re-designing our new site. Our web presence would suffer greatly without him.

We hope that you enjoy our new site and visit often to find out about new events, campaigns, programs, ways to rent space and/or donate! Feel free to let us know what you think of the changes.
