MaestraPeace Mural Restoration 2012

Here at the Women’s Building, we have officially launched our MaestraPeace Mural Restoration Campaign! As many have heard through our various fundraising efforts, we need to reach a goal of $130,000! This is a lot of money but we are determined to raise it in order to preserve the breath-taking symbols of women’s strength, contributions, and social justice that adorn our large building and represent the work that all of the organizations within the building work hard to carry out daily.

Through its restoration, we hope to remind future generations of the power of women through this glorious work of public art. To learn more about our mural campaign and how you can get involved, please watch the video above and visit our campaign website here. Many thanks!
