Services for Economic Security & Well-Being

Our services for individuals are offered through our Community Resource Room (CRR). The services are designed to support low-income women, but anyone who supports our goals is welcome. All services are FREE and available in English and Spanish unless otherwise noted.

    • Need help and don’t know where to go? We’ll help you identify resources and plan your next steps.

  • Access to Technology
    • Computer lab with word processing and internet access, fax, phone, and printing and copying capabilities
    • Orientations to computer basics, assistance with individual tasks
  • Free Income Tax Preparation
    • For individuals and families who earn less than $45,000 per year
    • US Citizenship NOT required

  • Financial Advice Information and Referrals (FAIR)
    • One-on-one appointments for help with budgeting, credit repair, public benefits screenings and more

  • Job Search Assistance
    • One-on-one appointments for help with resumes, cover letters, interview skills, and internet job search strategies

  • Immigrant Food Pantry
    • Every Monday from 10:00-11:30am for immigrants who live in San Francisco
    • The pantry distributes fresh produce, bread, dry good items, and canned food.
    • Drop-in to register
  • Low Cost Legal Advice
    • Attorney at Law, Annie Thorkelson, offers one dollar per minute legal advice and referrals.
    • Every Wednesday from 4:30pm-6:30pm

Building Community through Arts & Culture

  • Celebration of Craftswomen
    • An annual crafts fair featuring 300 women artists

Promoting Social Change

  • Supporting Women’s Organizations
    • Providing affordable rent to tenant organizations
    • Hosting community events
  • Coalition Building
    • Mission Community Council, member of the Self-Sufficiency Affinity Group
